Waypoint is a simple, peaceful place to park up for a few nights while you're on the road. We're not trying to be a traditional holiday park — think easy access, good sites, essential services, and a quiet place to stay.
Waypoint is for campervans, motorhomes, caravans and other purpose-built camping vehicles. We don't accept tents or people sleeping in ordinary cars or vans that aren't set up as campers.
Yes. All campers staying at Waypoint need to be self-contained. You need your own toilet and the ability to contain all grey and black wastewater. Nothing can be discharged onto the ground.
No. Waypoint is designed specifically for self-contained campers, so there are no communal bathrooms or showers. That helps us keep the campground simple, clean and low-impact.
Waypoint is intended for short stays rather than long-term accommodation. Without prior approval, the maximum stay is 3 nights in any 7-day period, or 7 nights in any 30-day period. Want to stay longer? Get in touch with us first.
From 7pm to 7am, please keep noise to a minimum. Sitting outside, having dinner and chatting is all fine — just no loud music, generators, parties, or anything that would disturb other campers or our neighbours.
Not between 7pm and 7am. During the day, please use generators sparingly and be considerate of people around you.
No open fires or fireworks. Normal camping cookers and gas BBQs are fine when used safely and subject to any fire restrictions in place at the time.
Not much — that's the idea. Come in a proper camper, be self-contained, take your rubbish with you, keep things quiet after 7pm, and leave your site as you found it. Do that, and you're pretty much the perfect Waypoint guest.
Yes — most sites can be booked with power for a small nightly add-on, selected when you book (it's an honesty system, not metered).
Yes, fresh water is available for campers.
Coming soon. Once it's live, the Wi-Fi passcode will be included in your booking confirmation email.
Please take it with you. Waypoint is an eco-friendly, rubbish-free campground — we don't provide general rubbish bins, so everything you bring in, including food waste and recycling, needs to leave with you.
No. Please keep all wastewater contained and use an approved dump station before or after your stay.
Yes — available sites are shown when you book, so you can choose the spot that suits you.
Check-in from 2:00pm, check-out by 11:00am.

Yes, provided you've booked in advance. Please be especially considerate if arriving after 7pm — lights low, voices down, and get settled as quietly as possible.
Yes — let us know at booking and there's a small nightly add-on. Your car parks on the same site as your camper, no separate space needed.
